A Bed and Breakfast with authentic charm and real history
Located in the heart of historic downtown Taos, La Doña Luz is a colorful 200 year-old adobe bed and breakfast. The Inn offers fifteen rooms richly decorated in the authentic Taos tradition, with no two alike. Resplendent in original fine art, Native American and Spanish Colonial antiques and artifacts, the unique accommodations evoke a strong sense of place and history. La Doña Luz is the closest bed and breakfast to the historic Taos Plaza, where galleries, restaurants and museums are within easy walking distance.

Aesthetics and luxury for the vacation of a lifetime!
Amenities include four private hot tubs, wood burning kiva fireplaces, jacuzzi baths, patios, kitchenettes, refrigerators, cable TV with HBO, VCRs and stereos. Enjoy horizon to horizon views of the Southern Rocky Mountains and a birds-eye-view of the historic downtown area from your private rooftop deck and hot tub of the Rainbow Room.

Once the home of La Doña Luz Lucero de Martinez, the building dates to 1802 and was constructed in the traditional way of adobe mud bricks with walls two feet thick, vigas and latillas. Located on the premises is El Rincón Trading Post and Museum. Established in 1909, it is the oldest Indian curio shop in Taos.
