Built in 1925, the San Geronimo Lodge Bed and Breakfast Inn was one of the first hotels in Taos, New Mexico, and the first “resort” hotel. This enchanting B & B offers historic charm with all the comfort and convenience of modern day lodging.

All rooms have brand new, extra-thick, Eurotop mattresses, a private bath with hair dryer, telephone with free local calls, Wi-Fi, clock radio and color cable television. All rooms have DVDs, with many more available to borrow from the Inn's collection.

With its many kiva fireplaces, the intoxicating aroma of burning pinon wood, delicious meals, and a hot tub for soaking under the stars, The San Geronimo Lodge is the perfect vacation getaway.

Guests at The San Geronimo Lodge bed and breakfast inn rave about their breakfasts … and are welcome to all they want! Included in the room rate, full breakfasts include a different hot entrée each day, and a buffet of fresh fruit, gourmet coffee, a selection of premium teas, chai, juices, cereals, and breads for toast. All breakfasts include a medley of 5 to 7 different fresh-cut fruits, melons and berries. In season you will often find organic apricots and sliced pears from the Inn's own trees. With advance notice, special dietary requirements can be met.

The Lodge’s amenities include an open air hot tub (always open) and New Mexico’s only chili-pepper shaped swimming pool (open from June through September). There is a garden setting for wedding and outdoor events, meeting space for groups of 10 to 100, and a library. Equipment is available for badminton, volley ball and horseshoes, as well as card and board games.
The living room at the San Geronimo Lodge has latilla ceilings and beautiful French doors. The grand piano can be used by guests, and is often played for guests by host, Charles. Several game tables are scattered throughout the room for guests to enjoy chess, backgammon, cards and scrabble.

Your Taos Wedding at the San Geronimo Lodge
The San Geronimo has hosted Taos weddings for over 80 years. The unique wedding pavilion features three massive criss-crossing beams. Outdoor weddings on the Lodge's relaxing and beautiful grounds can accommodate up to 300 people. More intimate weddings can be held in the dining room or the pool side studio, which can also serve as a chapel.

The staff is happy to provide recommendations for local caterers, photographers, musicians, florists, officiants, party rentals and wedding planners.

Special Events
Over the years, The San Geronimo has been host to musical concerts, artist’s receptions, political meetings, company holiday parties, graduation parties, bridal showers and weddings. The Lodge is ideal for family reunions, spiritual retreats and workshops of all kinds, which have included yoga, plein air painting, weaving, pottery, scrapbooking, multi-media, creative collage, knitting, and more.

With 18 guest rooms and a total of 31 beds, it is perfect for groups of from 18 to 31 people, or up to 50 or more, if guests include couples and families.

• The Dining Room can accommodate up to 100 at tables, or without for dancing, yoga or meditation.

• The living room is great for informal groups of about 20. Knitting, writing and spiritual workshops meet here.

• The outdoor studio by the pool is great for painting, yoga, seminars, creative workshops and small parties.
