Conveniently located in Angel Fire just a few minutes from the ski lifts and the golf course, with hiking just outside the front door, Elk House is surrounded by majestic Ponderosa Pines and Aspens. Enjoy nearby fishing, mountain biking, horseback riding, ATV tours, boating, white water rafting, sightseeing and more in the summer, and downhill and cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, sledding, and many more winter sports. The cabin does not require four-wheel-drive (4WD) in the winter.

The master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, has an en-suite bathroom, as well as cable TV, HBO, DVD, VCR, telephone, and private balcony. There are two additional bedrooms and a second full bathroom. The expansive loft has two twin beds plus great views of Wheeler Peak. The cabin sleeps eight comfortably. There is a comfortable living area with cable TV, HBO, DVD/VCR, and a wood burning stove with ample firewood. The kitchen is fully-equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, small appliances, and washer and dryer.

Summer or winter, your kids will love the cabin. Elk House has a large loft for indoor play (complete with teepee) and a beautiful, tree-filled backyard for outdoor play (no steep slopes). There is a pack'n'play for little ones, a booster seat, a stair gate, and the woodburning stove area can be completely surrounded by a safety fence if necessary. There are also lots of games, books and DVDs for kids and adults!
