DESERT OAK: "Live the Essence of Taos"
Desert Oak is located just two blocks from the Historic Taos Plaza, within walking distance of over 15 restaurants, many more bars, museums, galleries, shops, and bookstores, and still convenient to Taos Ski Valley. Desert Oak is an authentically restored, architecturally designed luxury adobe home. From the moment you walk through the custom latilla gate into a private courtyard, you are surrounded by the comfort of a unique home designed in an elegant, southwestern style. Amenities include a gourmet kitchen, dining room, living room with fireplace, cable TV, stereo, and washer/dryer. There is a large walled courtyard in the front and a private hot tub in the backyard.

Flexible plans allow the Main House, with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, (sleeping 8) and The Suite, with one bedroom, one full bath, kitchen and living room w/queen sleeper, (sleeping 4), to be rented individually or together.

With six Bedrooms and four full Bathrooms (sleeping 17!) these two side-by-side homes are perfect for large gatherings and family reunions, and boast spectacular views in every direction. There is a private hot tub and a fire pit for bonfires under the star filled New Mexican sky. The compound is convenient to the historic town of Taos and Taos Ski Valley. It is the perfect base camp for all that Taos has to offer.
